Urša Vidic’s conceptual matrix consists of bodies which are connected by a sensual communication, a silent sign language that is louder from the language of various categorizations of identity based on biological sex.

Urša Vidic(1978) graduated in 2004 at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. Already in 2003 she was an award recipient of the Academy of fine arts and design. In 2007 she was nominated for the award 1. Goldener Kentaur, Europäischer Kunstpreis des Münchner Künstlerhauses and for the Essl Award for Central / Southeast Europe by National Gallery, Ljubljana. Since 2003 she has exhibited her art in several group and individual exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad (Modern Gallery, City Gallery, Ljubljana castle, Bežigrad Gallery 2, Ganes Pratt Gallery, Gallery Miklova hiša - Ribnica, Vienna, Munich, Budapest, Brussels, etc.).
